I go here alot chill vibes, i like whipin it in the shopping cart (please dont judge me) the meat there omg its good service is good i love this place it is overpriced but its worth it, they have everything you need, and i mean everything so good place.

Big shout out to all the hard workers supplying those awesome black and blue brats on the Fourth of July! Added red ketchup and white onion to make them festive.

Unlike a Walmart or cub foods, they really cater to you and make sure everyone is being helped. The staff is all extremely friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure the customer is taken care of!

First time 5/11/22!! Never been to this location before! I have been to the Montgomery store last nov 2021 But this store really impressed me! They smoke the meats inhouse in the meat dept.. make deli salads and everything in deli from scratch and made from scratch bakery as well!!! Love everything they offer! Have a great gifts and floral area too.. Has a Caribou coffee and has a pharmacy. This store has a real sense of community!! Everyone so friendly at this store!! I will stop in again and shop and give them business they been in the business for a long time!! If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? Come to Mackenthun's in waconia mn you won't be dissapointed!

We do not live in Waconia but have had the opportunity to use the services of the Floral Department several times. The flowers and arrangements are fresh and lovely. A big shout out to Sarah, who has helped us several times and goes above and beyond for her customers. Her pleasant personality definitely over the phone is appreciated. Thank you.

This is the place we go to get our annual ribeye roast for the Yule dinner I prepare. Since it's impossible to go through this store and only stick to what's on the list, I bring home a lot more. I think of Macenthun's as the "target" of food. There are always wonderful things that catch your eye that have to come home with you. In addition to the roast, staples are the summer sausage and beef sticks. I have to talk myself down from a ledge with both because they're so delicious. I get two summer sausage and two or three packs of the beef sticks. I looooooove the jalapeno cheese ones the most. The garlic summer sausage is amazing, too. While they cannot control how people choose to navigate the store (not social distancing) in some ways, I was glad to see arrows and markings to help get through the store in the same quick, efficient pre-Covid ways we had. The staff, regardless of function, had on masks, which gave me a good sense of relief. Of course there were customers who weren't. Anyway, the meat counter men (I haven't seen a woman/female working it yet) are all friendly and answer questions. They will cut things to order, which is very helpful. Sometimes I get two roasts and have one cut into steaks. The prices are comparable to other quality shops. No, they are not cheap. Good meat shouldn't be cheap, so I've no problems with the costs involved. The aisles are wide and things are easy to find. Prices are clearly marked on the shelves or directly on products themselves. The store is always clean looking, as well. All the staff I've encountered have been friendly and helpful. If you're looking for quality meats, and friendly service, this is the place.

Nice local grocery with a top-notch butcher shop and solid bakery and deli. The store is well organized and features a variety of in-house and Minnesota made products. It's worth stopping in if you are in or near Waconia.

I was impressed with the large, quality selection of foods. The restaurant, deli, bakery and meat departments are extraordinary!! I enjoyed a salad from their "to go" salad bar. Very fresh, higher quality selection. Also tried the stores own smoked salmon dip ... Phenomenal!!
